Amtrak train: Seattle to Portland

I took the train down to Portland on Friday. I always request a window seat on the water side. This time I snapped a ton of pictures when we passed the Pugest Sound between Tacoma and Olympia. It was quite scenic.



I brought along a dinner of spaghetti with tomatoes and garlic powder. It smelled quite strong and I was able to scare off the lady sitting next to me. As soon as I opened up the tubberware, she left for the dining car and never returned until the we reached Portland. Success!

As usual, Amtrak was a bit late getting into Portland. But it beats the bus ride anyday.
