Day on the Eastside

The day after Laurie's wedding, we decided to do something fun with Heather, who was in town for the weekend from Alaska. We took a trip out to the eastside of town to see Jeunai and Jason's new house and have a swim at a local lake.



I think we were at Pine Lake and it was overrun with people. But we managed to secure a spot on the deck next the fishing area. An old man was trying in vain to catch fish and told us we were in the way of his access to the pole. I wanted to mention that he wasn't going to catch even a boot, but we just moved over a bit to keep him from grumbling.



Back at the house, Jeunai and Jason have a nice young dog and an angry cat. I had fun trying to play with the cat from where it was trying to hang out on top of the cabinets.





For dinner, we went out to a local place for a happy hour special. It was so much food and an incredibly good deal.
